The people who tend to talk and discuss before the examination are the people who are themselves not secure about their preparation and want to take refuge in the possibility that others like them also are present in the examination. The reason it may add to the anxiety is that they may talk about a topic and it may not be the part of the exam but they talk about it and you may feel that you are underprepared. But when you come and sit for the exam you find out that that topic was not there in the portion at all. So you sat for the exam with a stressed mind and it will affect your performance.

Staying away from people is your best option. The people who are writing the exams are your competitors and do not want you to win and succeed. We are a primal species and we are hard wired to think about food and more food all the time. You may have noticed that stressful situation makes certain people eat a lot and it calms their nerves. This is what you might want to do. Eat food that are healthy but are tasty. I am not talking about McDonalds or BurgerKing or Dominos Pizza. If you eat that you will put on weight and will cause blood pressure to increase.
Keep FaceBook away it is destroying your life and your time. If you want to access FaceBook access it for personal gain and not to waste time. If you are scrolling through the news feed like you are swiping in a game you will waste time. If you are addicted to FaceBook let lord help you.
The reason I say keep Facebook away is because it will make your mind go to the comfort zone and make the studies that you need to do look like pain in the a**. And you would want to look at Facebook because it is easy and more fun than studies.

Tip #4 Listen to Mozart and Beethoven, not Justin Bieber.
Most people and students don't know this trick because the people who know this will not tell you this. I have experienced that when you are tired of studying and you want to give up or you have a terrible head ache and no amount of pills are going to cure it, if you listen to Mozarts symphonies the head ache will go away and you will be rejuvinated for studies.
Try it once it is a trick. If you are having a bad head ache listen to the Mozart and Beethoven, the piano and the violin played will make the pain go away quickly and you will have the motivation and the will power to learn and study more before the exams.
The time that you have before the exams is so less that every second of it counts and will reflect on the paper that you are going to write.
If you listen to music from Justin Bieber you will go on a bad lane of thought and will discend into a cycly of pain and suffering. Have you ever listened to that guys music, there is nothing to feel happy about it.
It will work 100% all the time.
Tip #5 Estimate the marks and forget about the exam and prepare for the next one.
The students and people who give the exams forget to not talk about the exams with peers after the exam. The thing is that the when you talk about the paper with your friends the paper becomes a burden in you mind and you contemplate the effects of the paper on you future. The mental picture builds for that paper and your mind makes the assumption that the rest of the papers will also go the same way.
If you let your mind make this picture then you will keep under performing the rest of the papers.
If you discuss about a paper and you got a mental picuter that the paper will get you 78% of the result. Then you let you mind make the picture that the rest will be 78% and will underperform and make it 68%. But your mind thinks that it has performed but you have not.
Have you noticed this pattern will sports persons all the time. They underperform once and the discent to fall is in no time.
